The final days tracking.

The day after (or the last song)

To 'didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to bangor':

Didn't we have a lovely ride,
the time we rode to Lands End.
We rode all the way, for 13 days.
And all for under a grand you know.
We had a few aches and mechanical breaks,
as we battled Mother Nature.
But we had a good bash,
and we raised some cash.
As the wheels went round!

The final day

We made it

Poetry for the last day...

Do you like the hills and rain?
I do not like the hills and rain.
I do not like my ills and pains!
Would you climb them on a bike?
Would you climb them on a trike?
I would not climb them on a bike,
i would not climb them on a trike!
Would you climb them with a goat?
Would you climb them with a stoat?
I would not climb them with a goat!
I would not climb them with a stoat!
I would not climb them on a bike,
i would not climb them on a trike!
I do not like the hills and rain,
i do not like the ills and pains!...
ENOUGH!

Thursdays poetry

To the tune of 'record breakers':

Medication; whoa medication: that's what Huw needs.
If he's goin' to climb the best. Alp d'Huez and the rest.
Whoa, medication's what Hugh needs!

Cornwall - the last county on our Epic ride

Trev brings refreshments

All together now - 'I can fix it!'

All sing along please - 'I can fix it!'

Belated Wednesday poem

Wee Trevvi Morrisson runs through the B&B,
Up stairs and down stairs needing to have a p#%,
Tapping at the window, tripping the alarm,
The team are in their beds, for it's past three o'clock?

Beans means.....

Josh joins us for a tough 38 miles

It's an early start...

It's an early start for the team as the house alarm where we are staying went off at 4am :)

Rodger slept thru it and Trevor finally got the code from the neighbour to silence the alarm. The whole of this small community knew we were arriving yesterday, if they were unsure wether we were here or not they knew now.

There will be one or two tired cyclists out there later today!!

Tuesday

Tuesdays song

Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day. Huw's knees are
finally working, Everything's going our way.

Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day. Rodger's cranks
have stopped squeaking, Everything's going our way.

Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day. Ian's helmet's
finally flashing, Everything's going our way.

Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day. Sean's legs are
getting quite tired, Everything's going our way.

Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day. Martin's wind is
abating, Everything's going our way.

Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day. Trevor's creams
now started working, Everything's going our way.

Across the severn

Trev has another lie down!

Just after this picture was shot, a car stopped to ask if we needed an Ambulance!

Our morning routine is not getting any slicker!

Questions about who had planned the route had began to surface

Trev tries for mobile reception!

Day 9

A longer day - 85 miles with the highest climb of the trip at 427m . Wet wet wet - just for a change!

All did well! It was also my birthday & it was great to meet up with my & Ians families for a great evening. Jacqui made the most amazing Jogle cake :)

Tired legs, but going well & we made it into Wales again!

Mondays poem

The cuckoo sang it's springtime song.
The swallows swooped and dived.
The lambs they frolicked in the fields.
'twas a day to feel alive.
But did we relish all these sights?
As we rode from town to town.
Like hell we did, and why you ask?
Cause it was always p#%*ing down.

Let's go

Awsome birthday cake - thanks Jacqui

Saturdays song

To the tune of 'heads, shoulders, knees and toes' -

Hands, buttocks, knees and backs, knees and backs.
Hands, buttocks, knees and backs, knees and backs.
And lots of cream to smooth your crack.
Hands, buttocks, knees and backs, knees and backs.

P.S. Many of these Poems (and this song) are penned by Trevor.

Day7

Left the beauty of the lakes - and it was fab. Travelled down through Lancaster to Preston. 77miles - slightly more than planned as we wanted to check out a housing estate in Ashton in Ribble. Rodger is researching Barrat Home developments!!!

Arrived in Preston and toured the city whilst homing in on our Hotel.

Sean managed to break 2 spokes, hastily whisked off for repair by Andy.

Stu joined us for a couple of days. He's doing an Iron Man next month so we showed him how real cyclists do
